The website highlights policy advocacy, program coordination, and evaluation work as a BSW Intern, with a focus on serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Built entirely using Wix's visual editor and design tools without writing code.

From Website Builder to Blockchain Developer

This Wix portfolio represents the beginning of my journey into web development and digital technology. Starting with a no-code platform allowed me to focus on design principles, user experience, and content strategy without the barrier of learning programming syntax.

The transition from this Wix-built site to the fully custom Internet Computer portfolio demonstrates significant technical growth. Where Wix handled all infrastructure automatically, I now manage deployment pipelines, configure security policies, optimize asset caching, and write custom JavaScript for interactive features like HLS video streaming and flip-book photo galleries.

This evolution from drag-and-drop tools to blockchain deployment, from relying on managed hosting to understanding canisters and cycles, and from template customization to hand-crafted responsive CSS reflects my commitment to continuous learning and technical skill development. The progression shows not just an expansion of technical capabilities, but a deeper understanding of how the web works at every layer—from user interface down to decentralized infrastructure.

Both projects serve the same purpose—showcasing professional work and creating meaningful connections—but the path from one to the other represents hundreds of hours of learning, problem-solving, and hands-on development that transformed me from a platform user into a developer and engineer.
